CUFI Leadership Condemns Biden Administration’s UN Abstention
WASHINGTON – On Monday, the leadership of Christians United for Israel (CUFI), the nation’s largest pro-Israel organization, released the following statements condemning the Biden administration for failing to veto UN Security Council Resolution 2728.
“Today’s abstention at the UN is an abomination—this is not how one treats an ally, and it is not reflective of the American people’s attitude toward Israel or this war,” said CUFI founder and Chairman Pastor John Hagee.
“The Biden administration’s acquiescence to international antisemitism will not prevent Israel from defeating Hamas or bringing her hostages home,” Hagee added.
“Today’s actions at the UN have shown the world, unequivocally, that the Biden administration has left Jerusalem out to dry. The US abstained from a resolution that was so appalling, it was welcomed by Hamas, and Israel felt compelled to recall a top delegation from Washington over the matter—which begs the question: “who is the current American policy helping?” noted CUFI Action funder Chairwoman Sandra Parker.
With more than 10 million members, Christians United for Israel is the largest pro-Israel organization in the United States and one of the leading Christian grassroots movements in the world. CUFI spans all fifty states and reaches millions with its educational message.
The CUFI Action Fund, a nonprofit 501(c)(4), nonpartisan organization, is related to the nation’s largest pro-Israel organization, Christians United for Israel (CUFI). The Action Fund is dedicated to ensuring our elected officials hear the perspective of the millions of Christian Zionists across the country.

This past weekend, Israel marked the grimmest of milestones; the 250th Israeli soldier was killed in Gaza. The soldier, Staff Sgt. Matan Vinogradov (z’’l), fell during an operation that resulted in scores of terrorists arrested and the head of Hamas’s internal security wing dead. As Israel slogs through the difficult job of vanquishing Hamas, our leaders here at home are not helping the situation.

Nearly 150 days into the war in Gaza, Congress has yet to advance emergency military assistance for Israel. CUFI Leadership Pans Congressional Inaction on Emergency Supplemental
Parker: “Washington knows that when Ron Dermer sounds an alarm bell, one should heed the warning and act with all deliberate speed”
WASHINGTON – On Thursday, the leadership of Christians United for Israel (CUFI), the nation’s largest pro-Israel organization, released the following statements concerning the continued delay in U.S. emergency support for Israel.
“Despite numerous, passionate speeches supporting Israel on the House floor in the wake of the 10/7 Massacre, it’s astonishing that our elected officials stand idly by as Israeli soldiers die in Gaza. America’s Congressional inaction will lead to more devastation in Israel while continuing to undermine our standing in the world. It is time for our leaders to set aside their own political interests and take the righteous path—not to act is to act,” said CUFI founder and Chairman Pastor John Hagee.
Referring to Israeli Minister of Strategic Affairs Ron Dermer’s recent comment that Israel needed U.S. aid, “yesterday,” CUFI Action Fund Chairwoman Sandra Parker noted, “Given his years working in our nation’s capital, Washington knows that when Ron Dermer sounds an alarm bell, one should heed the warning and act with all deliberate speed.”
“Though our patience has worn thin, our position has not changed. We will continue to support a bipartisan legislative vehicle for advancing emergency aid to Israel, and we will continue to oppose any effort to set the terrible precedent of demanding offsets to emergency war funding,” Parker added.
