Recent days have brought good news and bad. We’ve seen policies we’ve long supported advance and seen bipartisan opposition to US capitulation to Iran’s every whim in negotiations over the Islamic Republic’s quest for nuclear weapons. On the other hand, we’ve seen said capitulation continue to serve as the cornerstone of the Biden administration’s foreign policy approach and we saw an Iranian attack on American facilities in Iraq.

The Action Update: Russia, Iran, the U.S., and Israel: Good vs. Evil
The news from around the globe is grim. Evil is having its day in the sun. We must be committed to confronting it. The core of the issue is that the totalitarian fascist regime of Vladimir Putin has forged an alliance of sorts with the radical Islamist theocracy in Iran. As we discussed last week, Ukraine is on the frontline of this conflict in Europe. And in the Middle East, it is Israel that is standing at the barricade dividing good from evil.

The Action Update: A Threat to Freedom Everywhere
The CUFI Action Fund is a single-issue organization. But some world events are so important that history itself pivots at those points and the ripples it sends impacts everything. Russia’s appalling, unwarranted, and inhumane invasion of Ukraine is such an event. We’ve seen the United States and Europe come together in support of Ukraine in ways unthinkable just weeks ago. Decades of foreign policy for some European nations have been completely upended. The world has changed once more because of war in Europe.
We do recognize, as we pointed out two weeks ago, that American weakness begets conflict. Whether it be in dealings with Russia or Iran, efforts to accommodate leaders like Putin or the Ayatollah leaves one empty handed when push comes to shove.
We feel strongly that the Biden administration must cease begging others to do what is right and start acting like a superpower.

The Action Update: The Message, The Policy, The Lasers!
Last week, Christians United for Israel held its annual Leadership Summit in Texas, where over 200 of our top leaders and activists met with and heard from experts, CUFI staff, and your very own Action Fund team members.
The Action Update: Standing with the Jewish People At Home and Abroad
Yesterday was International Holocaust Remembrance Day. It falls on the anniversary of the liberation of the Auschwitz concentration camp. One might think that this day has been marked for decades, but, somewhat tellingly, the commemoration was only codified by the United Nations in 2005.
Our mission is to stand with the Jewish people – both those in Israel and those around the world. As such, we are dedicated not only to ensuring Israel’s Iron Dome missile system is resupplied but also to combating antisemitism in the United States.
The Action Update: Combating Antisemitism, Terrorism and the Hamas Caucus
Our plan this week was to devote this edition of the Update to progress we are making on several fronts in our effort to combat antisemitism and stand up for the US-Israel relationship. And we’re not allowing a terrorist’s actions to change that. But as we’re sure you all know, over the weekend, a terrorist took several hostages at a small synagogue in Colleyville, TX.
Due to the brave, professional and disciplined actions of local and federal law enforcement, all the hostages came out of the ordeal physically unharmed. There is therefore reason to rejoice today. But this latest act of violence against the Jewish community must serve as a stark reminder that our mission is far from over and more important than ever.
The Action Update: Iran Edition
Welcome to the CUFI Action Fund Update: Iran edition. Regular readers of the Update know Iran is a pariah state. You know they are the world’s leading sponsor of terror, that they are pursuing a nuclear weapons capability and have an abysmal human rights record. But sometimes these broad descriptions don’t paint the most detailed picture. So, let’s discuss the latest and greatest from Tehran’s Tyrants.
The Action Update: Around the Middle East in 2 minutes
Happy New Year! For our DC readers, and all others able to take a little time off these past couple of weeks, welcome back. As is often the case in our line of work (and we’re sure many others), you take a little time off and there’s a pile of things to go through on your desk. So, this week, we’re going around the region to let you know where things stand – and perhaps where we’re headed – in 2022.
The Action Update: The White House May Finally See Iran’s Leaders For Who They Are
This past week, we saw some important pro-Israel policies advance in Congress, learned through press reports that both the White House and Downing Street may finally be seeing the Iranian regime for who they are, and heard more bluster from the Islamic Republic’s tyrannical leaders. A jam-packed week for sure, so let’s dive right in.
