We work in politics, so we endeavor to be diplomatic. But there’s no diplomatic way of articulating the current situation: The Biden Administration’s Middle Eastern foreign policy approach is a slow-burning failure. And as you’ll see below, that belief isn’t rooted in one’s party or ideology – no one thinks that Team Biden’s approach to Iran, Hamas, Hezbollah, etc… is working. So, the question is simple: When is the Biden Administration going to get it together? As far as we’re concerned, the longer they wait to right the ship the more likely the risk of a wider conflagration.

The Action Update: Iran’s Leader Vows to Target Israel While Iran Talks Stall
Violence, threats and condemnations – over the past week, we’ve seen them all. But what does it really mean? In this week’s Action Update, we dive into what you need to care about, what you can ignore, and what comes next.
The Action Update: Palestinian Terrorists Are Killing Israelis
In recent weeks, we’ve seen a heartbreaking wave of terror across Israel, a possible glimpse of sanity from the Biden administration on Iran, and some good news in the efforts to combat antisemitism at the state level. So, without further ado, let’s dive in.
The Action Update: Iran’s Done Talking
One of the most important elements of our work is the intake of information. Our work product, from legislation and policy documents to your weekly Action Update, is the final element of our labors. This week, three sentences in the articles we read stuck out.
The Action Update: From Jerusalem to Hungary to the Negev Desert
Over the past two weeks, Christians United for Israel staff and leadership have been to the Middle East and Europe, working every step of the way to support the Jewish people in yet another hour of need. In this week’s Action Update, we go from Jerusalem to Hungary to the Negev Desert.
The Action Update: Anyone Seeing a Pattern?
Recent days have brought good news and bad. We’ve seen policies we’ve long supported advance and seen bipartisan opposition to US capitulation to Iran’s every whim in negotiations over the Islamic Republic’s quest for nuclear weapons. On the other hand, we’ve seen said capitulation continue to serve as the cornerstone of the Biden administration’s foreign policy approach and we saw an Iranian attack on American facilities in Iraq.

CUFI Welcomes Passage of Omnibus, Iron Dome Funding
(3/10/22) WASHINGTON – On Thursday, the leadership of Christians United for Israel (CUFI), the nation’s largest pro-Israel organization, welcomed passage of the long-awaited omnibus spending bill, which includes funding for several pro-Israel priorities.
“From core support enabling Israel to defend itself against tyrants that seek its destruction, to the vital resupply of Israel’s Iron Dome missile defense system, we welcome Congress including critical aid to Israel within the Omnibus bill, which now heads to the President’s desk,” said CUFI founder and Chairman Pastor John Hagee.
The Iron Dome resupply had been held up for months by a fringe member of Congress, Senator Rand Paul, who repeatedly blocked an up or down vote on standalone legislation that would’ve provided the needed support.
“Iron Dome saves lives, plain and simple. American support for the Iron Dome missile defense system is sacrosanct, and the decision by certain anti-Israel members of Congress to obstruct support for a defensive system that protects innocent civilians is reprehensible. We are pleased that in the end, the radicals on both sides of the aisle were not able to undermine such vital American support for Israel,” Hagee noted.
“We are grateful to the Congressional leadership in both chambers and from both parties for moving this legislation forward. In addition to the financial support enabling Israel to defend itself and fight shared American and Israeli enemies like Hezbollah, this legislation also reiterates the importance of the Taylor Force Act and ensures aid falls within the law,” said CUFI Action Fund Chairwoman Sandra Parker.
“The American people demand the Palestinian Authority stop paying terrorists to kill innocent people, and until the PA ends this pay-to-slay program, they should receive not one cent of American taxpayer dollars,” Parker added.
With more than 10 million members, Christians United for Israel is the largest pro-Israel organization in the United States and one of the leading Christian grassroots movements in the world. CUFI spans all fifty states and reaches millions with its educational message.
The CUFI Action Fund, a nonprofit 501(c)(4), nonpartisan organization, is related to the nation’s largest pro-Israel organization, Christians United for Israel (CUFI). The Action Fund is dedicated to ensuring our elected officials hear the perspective of the millions of Christian Zionists across the country.
The Action Update: Russia, Iran, the U.S., and Israel: Good vs. Evil
The news from around the globe is grim. Evil is having its day in the sun. We must be committed to confronting it. The core of the issue is that the totalitarian fascist regime of Vladimir Putin has forged an alliance of sorts with the radical Islamist theocracy in Iran. As we discussed last week, Ukraine is on the frontline of this conflict in Europe. And in the Middle East, it is Israel that is standing at the barricade dividing good from evil.

The Action Update: A Threat to Freedom Everywhere
The CUFI Action Fund is a single-issue organization. But some world events are so important that history itself pivots at those points and the ripples it sends impacts everything. Russia’s appalling, unwarranted, and inhumane invasion of Ukraine is such an event. We’ve seen the United States and Europe come together in support of Ukraine in ways unthinkable just weeks ago. Decades of foreign policy for some European nations have been completely upended. The world has changed once more because of war in Europe.
We do recognize, as we pointed out two weeks ago, that American weakness begets conflict. Whether it be in dealings with Russia or Iran, efforts to accommodate leaders like Putin or the Ayatollah leaves one empty handed when push comes to shove.
We feel strongly that the Biden administration must cease begging others to do what is right and start acting like a superpower.
